Cat's Cradle is a non-profit cat rescue located in downtown Harrisonburg that works to ensure and maintain a safe, compassionate community for cats and dogs. The organization's downtown location is the cat adoption center, which allows the twenty or so cats currently staying there to roam freely and play with visitors until they are adopted. The organization also helps with spay/neuter assistance for low-income families, has a trap neuter return program, and helps with pet retention and rehoming assistance. Cat's Cradle is a no-kill cat rescue and places their cats in foster homes until there is room at the adoption center for them.

Visitors are welcome at the site and encouraged to play with all the cats! JMU students are also welcome to volunteer at the adoption center!
