A thirty-minute drive from campus, Gap View Ranch & Kennel is located on 100 acres of land in the Shenandoah Valley. JMU students are welcome to explore Gap View and enjoy spending quality time with its furry inhabitants. With forty golden retrievers for visitors to play with this, the Gap View Ranch & Kennel is a great place to spend a beautiful day outside! Visitors are even welcome to take the dogs out of their pens for a walk and explore the property. Upon arrival each visitor is asked for a small $3 donation to go towards local charities. Make sure to call as far ahead as possible to reserve a time. Space fills up fast!
